我来说一下香港公开大学的“副校长”和“校务顾问”吧——在OU的网站上，这两类的头衔都是校长兼的（注意：不是副校长）
一、副校长 官网介绍如下（英文）： Provost and Vice-President is the most senior member of staff. He advises the President (the University’s Chancellor) on all aspects of the University's work， represents the university in external forums and promotes its interests. The position was created after a review in 2004 of the then Executive Committee structure to provide leadership in all matters except academic affairs， which remain with the Senate. In common with other universities， OU has appointed Professors to this group as part of their continuing commitment to scholarship and research. Provost Hing Chao will be stepping down from this role at the end of his term in August 2013 and we are currently seeking a new candidate.

二、校务顾问 官网介绍如下（英文）： Advisers play an essential role in helping the Provost translate the strategic vision for the University into operational plans and day-to-day management. They assist in delivering the mission of the institution by focusing on such areas as institutional advancement， global networking， partnerships， and fundraising. Advisers also serve as liaisons with external stakeholders， ensuring that they have access to accurate information about our programs and activities and providing opportunities for them to provide input where appropriate. 与校董会成员不同，这些顾问并没有固定的任职年限；他们的职位也没有明确的薪酬上限。不过，一旦上任，他们就可以获得相当数量的薪酬。
